New collection "Prosperity Japan Select" is now added

Prosperity Japan has launched a new product category.
This category introduces items born from encounters with traditional craftsmanship, materials, and techniques that transcend conventional boundaries. Rooted in the aesthetics and handcraft traditions passed down across Japan, each piece has been selected for its distinct character and appeal.

The first items introduced are naturally colored pearls and Senshu paulownia chests.
Naturally colored pearls are left untouched by artificial dyeing or treatment, preserving the colors created by nature itself. Each pearl has its own delicate expression and carries a quiet, understated elegance.

Senshu paulownia chests, meanwhile, are traditional craft pieces that developed alongside Japan’s kimono culture. Known for their humidity control and natural resistance to insects, they have long been used to protect garments and treasured belongings.

Prosperity Japan will continue to shine new light on regionally rooted materials and techniques, sharing with audiences in Japan and abroad the culture and aesthetic values that exist behind them.

Prosperity Japanでは、新たな商品カテゴリーを公開いたしました。 

伝統工芸や素材、技術との出会いから生まれた、既存の枠組みにとらわれない品々をご紹介してまいります。日本各地で受け継がれてきた美意識や手仕事を背景に、それぞれが固有の魅力を持つアイテムを選定しています。 

現在ご紹介しているのは、無調色真珠と泉州の桐箪笥。 無調色真珠は、人の手による染色や加工を施さず、自然が生み出した色彩そのものを活かした真珠です。一粒ごとに異なる繊細な表情があり、落ち着いた気品を湛えています。 

また、泉州の桐箪笥は、着物文化とともに発展してきた工芸品です。調湿性や防虫性に優れ、衣裳や大切な品を長く守るための道具として受け継がれてきました。 

今後もProsperity Japanでは、地域に根差した技術や素材に新たな光を当て、その背景にある文化や美意識とともに、国内外へ発信してまいります。
