This hanging scroll reproduces a work centered on calligraphy by the eminent Kōyasan Shingon monk, the Great Priest Takebe Kaiun, surrounded by the text of the Amida Sutra, and flanked on either side by the Twenty-Five Bodhisattvas and Amida Buddha as if standing guard over it. Symbolizing the teachings of Buddhism, this hanging scroll serves as a special item for deepening one's peace of mind and faith.

南無阿弥陀仏　二十五菩薩　建部快運より

高野山真言宿老建部快運大僧正筆の墨跡を中心に、その周りに仏説阿弥陀経を、そしてそれを守るように左右に二十五菩薩と阿弥陀如来が描かれた作品を再現した掛け軸です。仏教の教えを象徴するこの掛け軸は、心の平穏や信仰を深めるための特別な作品です。
