This large plate is a lavish example of Imari ware from the Meiji era, adorned with vividly rendered polychrome decoration. The peach motif at the center symbolizes longevity and health, while the traditional pine-bamboo-plum design represents good fortune. Unique motifs such as the hidden hat and keys appear throughout, lending the piece a distinctive sense of narrative.

The harmonious use of red, green, and blue, combined with delicate brushwork and bold composition, fully conveys the charm of Japanese ceramic art.
