Nishijin brocade is a silk fabric made in Japan. Nishijin is the name of the northwestern part of Kyoto. It is one of Japanese great traditional crafts that has continued for more than 1,000 years. Since even Japanese people do not wear kimonos, this wonderful traditional technique is introduced as an art form to preserve it.
